From conceptual illustrations to crafting a brand’s visual language, drawing is at the center of all my work. Working with a client’s art direction, I kick off our collaboration by creating mutual understanding of the intended goals, develop multiple conceptual directions, revise ideas based on stakeholder feedback and finally deliver print ready files on time.

I worked with the team of Art Directors at Apple Books to create a cohesive illustration system for the Winter and Spring seasonal campaigns, including more than 20 original illustrations for different collections of content.

Working with the art director and editors of Cityside Journalism, I created illustrations for their Affordable Housing Guide, a project focused on providing print and digital resources for people facing housing insecurity in the SF Bay Area.

This painting was created for the inaugural show at Pacific Saw Works, a fine art gallery that opened in Oakland this year. It depicts observations around the one block area of my neighborhood in West Oakland, just a few blocks away from the Gallery.
